While in graduate school I was a TA for Intro to Sculpture for 4 semesters. I taught how to use metal/ wood tools for creating sculpture, and the procedures for taking life casts. My classes had casual yet thought-ful critiques and I became good at pin balling 50 million questions that my students had. To see students working hard and so proud of their art was and is very rewarding. I also ran a discussion group every Weds. night for the seminar lecture series as apart of my TA position. In this group I focused on video for their final project which was a video artist research paper and creation of there own short videos.
